Nashville
Superspeedway for the USST National Event. The
team rolled the truck of the hauler. In the
garage, they noticed they had to change the
springs. They missed the first practice while
locating, and installing the proper springs.
Sunday race day saw the #55 Richardson Auto Glass
Chevrolet go out for practice and lose the motor.
Brad's team, along with volunteers from other teams were
able to get the backup motor installed.
Unfortunately Brad missed qualifying and had to start in
12th, last in the field. From the drop of the
green flag, Brad was racing hard with the trucks around
him, swapping positions each lap. There was a
competition yellow half way through the race. Tire
change, adjustments and fuel. The race was slowed
with four yellow flags for single truck incidents.
Brad blew a rear tire a couple of laps from the
checkered flag. He was able to muster an 8th place
finish thanks to the dedication of his team throughout
the weekend. |

Since
the USST sets the field by inverted points, not
qualifying, the #55 Richardson Auto Glass
Chevrolet started 10th on the track. This was the
first race that he was able to run the new truck that
was built for the big tracks. In the early
part of the day the team was fighting the truck getting
very loose on entry . The crew was able to work
hard, like they always do, and was able to get the
problem resolved. Brad felt he had to win
the race in their honor, for long day they put in
to give him such a great truck. He drove the
truck from last in the field, to the front
and brought home the checkered flag! |

The
race saw the #55 Richardson Auto Glass Chevrolet moving
slowly towards the front. Brad was waiting for
things to play out in front of him as he continued his
trek towards the front. Then he had ignition
problems and had to pull of the track resulting in an
11th place finish. |

T he
#55 Richardson Auto Glass Chevrolet
started 12th and the worked it's way up to third place.
This was attributed to a good handling truck and the
fact that everything seemed to be playing out just
the way Brad wanted. He drove from dead last in
the field to third, without a scratch on the truck..
But when he got to third, the the second place truck had
a leaking rear end and was putting gear oil
all over the track. This left Brad with
nothing to do but ride out the last laps holding on the
a third place finish! |

June 5,
2010 |
Another
typical hot Texas day.
Temperature near the century mark with a hot wind out of
the south. The #55 Richardson Auto Glass Chevrolet
rolled of the truck in good shape. After a few
practice laps and some minor adjustments, it was ready
to race. There were new rules in place starting
this weekend.
The
field would be set by points - inverted. The heat
races were set the same way, although finishing order in
the heats would have no effect on the starting position
in the feature.
Being the points leader,
Brad would be starting last in the 50 lap event.
The drop of the
green flag made for some very tight racing as the faster
trucks (higher in points) started in the back of the
pack. There were quite a few yellow flags, mostly
for single truck events. There was one spin mid
pack that caused a pile up behind it. The #55 was
caught up in it, and had to pit for repairs. The
truck went back out, hoodless, front end pushed in, to
resume battle. Brad was able to salvage a fourth
place finish in spite of the bad luck. |

Memorial
Day - A day to honor those who served our country, and a
day for racing. This was a two day event, with
qualifying on Saturday night and the race run on Sunday
night. The # 55 Richardson Auto Glass Chevrolet
rolled off the hauler pretty close to race trim.
Brad took the truck out for some practice laps,
and
after a brush with the wall, required some adjustments
to be made to get the 'feel good' back into the truck.
Qualifying heat races were held on Saturday night. Brad
qualified the #55, sporting the new paint scheme on the
pole for Sunday night's main event.
The feature event was
a 75 lap race with a 'competition yellow' at lap 50 for
fuel. After the 'chip pull' to determine the
number of trucks inverted for the race, the #55 was
moved back to the fourth starting position, outside
second row. From the drop of the green flag, the
tightly packed field began jostling for position.
Lots of rubbin', bumpin', and pushing going on. On
lap 10, Brad moved his #55 to the front. The race
was slowed by a few cautions for minor incidents.
On every restart, Brad jumped out to the lead and
cleared the second place truck by the entry to turn one.
Once out front, there was no looking back. As he
gained on the back of the pack, it became clear that
nobody really wanted to go a lap down. There was
rubbin' and shovin' and he passed the slower trucks.
Brad took the #55 to victory lane showing the battle
scars from a rough race. AS they say.... 'Rubbin'
is Racin'. |

April 24,
2010 |
Windy
and cold weather was the order of the day for this race.
Luckily for the racers, the wind died down to 10mph by
the start of the feature event. Once again, Brad
was on the pole after winning his heat race. There
was a good turnout with 15 trucks taking the green flag.
From the drop of the green flag,
he
was able to put a comfortable distance between himself
and the rest of the field. The back of the pack is
where the action was taking place. By action I
mean beating and banging. There were numerous
yellow flags due to all the rough driving back there.
Brad had to stay aware and dodge the melee which ensued.
The #55 Chevrolet sponsored by Richardson Auto Glass won
the race by a comfortable margin. Second Race /
Second Win. |

first race of the 2010 season saw Brad start from the

An
important race if there ever was one. Brad had the
chance to clinch the 2009 LMST Championship at this
race. The #55 BradQueenRacing.com Chevrolet
qualified on the pole for the event. The drop of
the green flag saw Brad hold the number one spot while
pushing, shoving and jostling for position went on in
his rear view mirror. When things finally settled
down,
his team mate Josh was right behind him in the #41
Chevrolet. The race as slowed a few times for
spins and once for a wreck. It was after a
caution, with cooled down tires that Josh made his move.
A gentle nudge and he slipped by Brad for the lead.
Once in the lead, he was able to get a little breathing
room for a while. Brad closed up on him, but was
going to have to move him out of the way to pass him.
Josh won the race and Brad settled for a second place
finish, winning the LMST Championship in the process. |

Back
to the home track, Red River Speedway for another LMST
Race. Typical Texas night, hot with a light breeze
out of the south. The BradQueenRacing.com
Chevrolet Silverado qualified 3rd for the 40 lap
event. Drop of the green flag saw Brad move into
the 2nd spot for a few laps. Got a little loose
one time and slipped back to 3rd. Yellow flag and
quick restart with the #55 holding the third position.
Some slipping and sliding from the leaders saw Brad move
to the outside and grab the lead away. Once in
the lead he was able to put a few trucks distance
between himself and the rest of the field. Another
couple of yellows to slow things down. He never
relinquished the lead for the remainder of the race
making this his seventh win of the season. |

Saturday
night racing at Myrtle Beach Speedway. A hot and
humid night with a light breeze. First time racing
at this half mile track. Brad qualified his Brad
Queen Racing Chevrolet 13th out of the 16 trucks running
the 50 lap feature. Green, Green, Green. By
the 3rd lap Brad had moved up one spot, then sat and
held his position. The field broke into two packs,
the three leaders and everybody else. As the laps
clicked
away, the truck got loose. Brad searched for
grip, found it and ran that line, still holding his
position. First yellow at lap 24 tightened the
field back up. Green, Green, Green. Typical truck
racing's bumping and rubbing till things sort out again.
Brad's truck is getting looser. This track surface
eats tires. He manages to keep the truck out of
the wall lap after lap, all while sliding through the
corners. Two more quick cautions, one at lap 43
and another on lap 49. This makes it a Green,
White, Checker situation. Green, Green, Green. The
rubbin' and bumpin' is worse this time, but everybody
keeps it going. The official results still have
not been posted on the Tracks web site. Results
will be posted here when they become available. |

Tri-County
Speedway in North Carolina for the UARA Late Model Stock
Car race was the location. Nice night, 81 degrees
with a light breeze at race time. Brad qualified
the #52 Chevrolet 15th in a 17 car field.
On the eighth lap a car up ahead of Brad got loose and
slowed. Just as Brad was coming by, he moved up
the track and damaged Brads front quarter panel which
began flapping in the wind. He pulled into the
pits for repair and lost three laps in the process.
His car had the speed and performance to compete, but
was at the disadvantage of laps down. At lap
25 there was a multi car wreck with a red flag for a
major oil cleanup. When the race restarted there
were only 13 cars left on the track. Another
yellow for a wreck dropped the car count to eleven.
That's where Brad finished the race, in eleventh spot. |

Sorry about the
delay getting this posted.... Totally my fault - Thom
Another
blazing hot day in Texas. Temperature hovering
around 103 degrees. Nine trucks were there to
race. Brad qualified on the pole with his best
time at this track, a 15.004 lap. The start of the
race saw Brad drive away from the rest of the field.
He had about a half a lap lead on the field when the
nights only caution came out for a blown motor.
After the clean up the green flag flew with the #55
Richardson Auto Glass Silverado maintaining the lead.
He would finish the race in first with his team mate
Josh in the #41 Silverado following him finishing in
second. |

the the win. |

Finally
the weather decided to cooperate.
After being rained out two weeks in a row, the race was
on. The USST Trucks were invited and they came
down from Oklahoma to run. There were a total of
twelve trucks for the race. Only eleven started
because one of them broke a valve during practice.
Brad was able to qualify his#55 Chevrolet in the second
spot. His team mate Josh qualified his #41 in the
third spot. Drop of the green flag started some
great side by side racing. There were yellow flags
for the usual rubbing related single truck spins, and
various broken parts. During one of the yellow
flags, the sky decided the spit some rain on
turns one and two.
Being unaware of that fact the flagman dropped the green
flag. On the restart, the leader got loose in the
middle of the turn, and turned in front of the field who
were already skating around on a slippery track.
The field just wadded up in the corner. Many
trucks left the track for repairs, including Brad's #55.
After that melee, the race restarted with the remaining
eight trucks. Brad was out there with a bent rear
axle. Totally non competitive, but still running.
Brad finished the race in the eight spot. |

Brad
qualified the #55on the pole at a 15.1. His team
mate Josh qualified the #41 outside front row with a
15.4 . As usual, the race was a contest
between team trucks. They ran 25 laps with less
than a truck length separating them. The #41
couldn't gain any ground on the #55. He was in
striking distance, but couldn't make it happen.
Lap 26 was the first and only caution, setting up a
shoot out for the finish. Josh tried to set up the #55 a
couple times and finally had a good run on the last lap,
but couldn't get by the#55. Brad finished in first
with Josh a close second.

One
would think that the weather would cooperate and be nice
and warm for a fun evening of racing. This was not
the case. It has rained all night before, the
temperature was in the mid 50's, and the air was heavy
with humidity around race time. Heavy air means
horsepower.
It can also mean a slick race track. Brad
qualified the #55 Richardson Auto Glass Silverado on the
pole. His Team Mate Josh qualified his #41 Silverado
second on the grid. Green Flag and the slipping
and sliding began. The heavy air did make more
horsepower, and a very slick race track. The team
trucks ran side by side for the first four laps, getting
loose and drifting through the corners. Brad was
able to pull ahead and held that spot all the way to the
end. The feature ran green for the entire 30 laps.
Brad's second win on this track this year. |

Weekends
come along pretty quickly when you are a race car
driver. Most people work all week, and are off on
weekends. Not so for race teams. The
Richardson Auto Glass team worked all week getting the
#52 prepared for this weekends battle. Then it was
the driver's turn to work. Brad
started 25th in a
field of 27 cars. That starting position was only
.35 seconds off the pole position. This was a very
tight field, with all the cars running similar lap
times. When the green flag dropped, the pole
sitter had some sort of a problem which stacked up the
field, and a yellow flew when one car hit the wall in
the resulting melee. This set the tone for the
entire race. The race was slowed many times by
yellow flags for wrecks. As luck would have it,
Brad ran over some debris from one of the wrecks and had
to make a green flag pit stop for a flat right rear
tire. It's pretty hard to recover from a green
flag stop on a short track. Brad soldiered on and
was able to muster an 18th place finish. |

April 18,

Another
gorgeous day for racing. Low 70's with bright
sunshine. History was made here at
Rockingham today since it was the first time the Late
Models had raced here. This was a 70 Lap feature
event at one of the larger tracks the UARA races at.
Brad had
qualified in the 26th position , but actually started
22nd since cars qualified in front of him had to go to
the rear of the field(motor chance, backup car, etc). At the drop of the green flag Brad started
his march towards the front. On lap 16, he brought
the #52 in for a green flag pit stop. Brad felt
like the left rear wheel was loose. It was a good
call on the wheel, but it was worse than that. The
wheel itself had broken which necessitated a tire
change. He went down three laps in the time it
took to change and send him back out. When the
race restarted, Brad was running times just a fast as
the leaders. The yellow came out five
times for spins
and wrecks. The
laps just clicked away under the yellow, making it
harder for Brad to gain on the leaders. The race
was stopped by a red flag for an extended cleanup at lap
62 of 70. Green flag followed by another yellow,
set up a green / white / checker scenario. The
track went green for just one lap and the yellow came
out again and the race finished under the yellow.
Brad finished in 28th position. |

The
day was perfect for the Special Olympics - Greenville at
Furman University to take place. Brad was there
with the #52
Richardson
Auto Glass Chevrolet to meet and sign autographs for the
participants
and their families. Brad must have
signed over a thousand autographs through
out the day.
The crowd was very excited to get to see a race car and
its driver close up and personal.
Besides the autograph there were the many photographs
that were taken with the new fans. Hopefully, many
of the youngsters and adults met at this great event
will come to the races in the coming years as fans. |

weather just wouldn't cooperate with the race schedule.
The teams a Tri-County Motor Speedway
were
able to run the practice sessions in dry conditions.
Brad was able to get the car up to eighth fastest in the
first practice session. The second practice
session he was thirteenth fastest car there. Then
the sky opened up. The race has been rescheduled
for May 22, 2009. Now it is on to Rockingham for
next weeks race. |

Short
Track Racing is the backbone of the sport. Brad
had the weekend off from the UARA Series, so he went to
Red River Raceway to race his Number 55
'Lewisville Motorsports Super Truck'. The
Richardson Auto Glass Chevrolet started from the pole
position, with his team mate, Josh Cournoyer in
the #41 Chevrolet on the outside in the second
starting position. When the green flag dropped,
the team mates thundered into to turn one side by side.
By the third lap they were running first and second with
Brad in the lead. The 30 lap feature race was slowed by
only one caution. Brad went on to win the event
with his team mate Josh finishing second. |

Bristol
Motor Speedway
- the high banked half mile bull-pen. The
Richardson Auto Glass sponsored Chevrolet started 29th
in a field of 36 cars that started the race. Brad
knew he had a car better than it's qualifying position.
From the drop of the green flag He started
picking up
positions lap after lap. By lap 30 he had
move up to
the 17th position when it all came
apart in front of him. The crash fest started in
front of him and he became part of it since the track
was blocked when he got there. The cars behind him
were in the same situation, and became part of the
mêlée. The car was in and out of the pits
numerous times trying to get the car driving
better. The team worked on the car from that point
to the end of the race. Brad was able to finish in
the 18th position. |

The
first race of the 2009 Season turned out to be a very
uneventful one due to the fact that the race was
'Canceled Due To Weather'. It had started

is a UARA event at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 21st
following the NASCAR Nationwide Series race. |

Altus
Speedway, The "Spooker Nationals" was the last USST event
Brad will run this year.
This
was a three day event with practice on Friday,
Two qualifying heats on Saturday and the Feature Race on
Sunday.
After testing different set-ups on Friday, the team left
the truck alone when Brad said he was comfortable with
the handling. First Heat race on Saturday went off
without a hitch, with the BradSams Winshield Repair
sponsored Truck finishing in the third spot. The
same could not be said about the second heat race when
Brad was involved in a wreck, damaging the front of the
truck. The team thrashed on the truck into the
early morning hours to get it ready for the next days
event. After a couple of hours sleep, they were
back at work finishing up. The truck was ready for
the Sunday Feature Race.
Brad had qualified the truck
through the heat races in the seventh position.
The green flag dropped and there was a wreck on the back stretch in the first lap involving
many trucks including Brad's #55,
leaving it disabled. The team got to work removing
body parts, replacing broken parts, and was able to get
the truck back on the track many laps down. Brad
went on to drive what looked more like a Modified than a
Super Truck, and was able to pull off a ninth place
finish. |

The
BradSams Windshield Repair sponsored #55 Chevrolet Silverado qualified
in the eighth position in a very tough field. The
green field dropped and Brad methodically started his
move up toward the front of
the field. The race was slowed by a few caution
flags, which closed up the field for each restart.
When the last caution flew with 10 laps remaining, Brad
had already moved into third place. That was as
far up as he was able to move in the limited number of
laps that remained, and finished third. Brad would
like to thank his crew for all their hard work getting
his truck set up for the event. Next race is "The
Spooker Nationals' at
Altus Speedway, October 24 ~ 26. |

Changing
the setup from the half mile high banks of I70 to the
one-third mile low banks of Altus speedway, turned out
to be a harder task than anticipated. The team
missed the setup by a little bit, which made all the
difference in the world. Brad qualified the
BradSams.com Chevrolet fifth for the 50 lap event.
At the drop of the green flag, the field quickly got
into single file in the front of the pack, with Brad
maintaining his fifth place position. Before the
half way point of the race Brad was able to move up one
spot to the fourth position. There were only two
yellow flags that closed up the field the entire race.
Brad maintained the fourth position to the checkered
flag. |

September 20,

We
had to do some traveling for this race. Odessa
Missouri, the home of I70 Speedway was the location.
The USST Trucks ran in conjunction with the ASA Late
Models this time around. It took quite a bit of
adjusting on Brad's truck to get it set up for
this half mile high
banked track. With the adjustments and practices
done Brad qualified the BradSams.com Chevrolet in second
position for the 100 Lap event. When the green
flag dropped, Brad was able to hold on to his second
position throughout the entire first 50 laps, which was
slowed by only two caution periods. At 50 laps was
a mandatory five minute pit stop. His pit crew
turned a perfect pit stop with a change of four tires
and a full tank of fuel. The second half of the
race saw Brad maintain second position only to be
passed, moving him back to third. He was able to
maintain that position clear to the finish of the race. |
|
August 30-31,
2008 |
|
Two
days of racing. We had an open track for practice
followed by qualifying on Saturday. Brad practiced
the #55 Chevrolet for many laps making adjustments until
he was satisfied with the handling. He then went
on to qualify the truck third for Sunday night's race.
The drop of the green flag saw thirteen trucks start the
event. There was a quick yellow flag for a spin,
then the track remained green for more than half the
laps to be run. Brad moved to second
position for almost the entire race. Near
the end of the race, one of the trucks had a problem and
oiled down the track, bringing out the red flag for an
extended cleanup. As the laps were winding down,
Brad tried to pass a lapped truck on the
outside. Unfortunately, the speedy dry has
accumulated on the upper groove causing Brad to slip and
the second and third place trucks got by. Brad finished the
race in the fourth position. |
|
August 23,

It
was an easy win Saturday night. There were 10 trucks at
the track for the event. There was a two lap qualifying
run for each truck. No heat races to run
tonight. After qualifying there was only the 50
lap feature to run. Brad qualified in the third
position, inside second row. After the drop of the
green
flag.
it didn't take long to pass the second place truck.
Then 10-15 laps in Brad was clearly faster than the
leader and accidentally got into the back of him and
turned him around. There was no damage to either
truck. As per USST rules, they sent both trucks
to the rear of the field for the restart. When the
field restarted there was some contact between them
again resulting in a little damage to the the rear of
Brad's truck, but Brad quickly pulled away. He then
began to pick them off one by one and regained the lead
right at halfway point of the race. By the end of the
race, he had lapped everyone but the second place truck,
and was a half lap or more ahead of him. Brad
captured his eight win of the season. |

Qualified
third for tonight's event. After the invert of the
starting positions Brad was to start in the eighth
position. This is not were he wanted to start the
race.
He chose instead to drop to the last position for the
start of the race, to avoid "The Big One". As it
turned out this was a wise decision on his part.
After the cleanup, he restarted in the middle of
the pack. By lap 15 Brad had taken the lead and
never looked back. He went on to his seventh win
of the season. |

We
returned to Tulsa Oklahoma this weekend to race at
JRP Speedway for the second
time this season. The race was slowed

2008 Season, with nine races remaining. |

After
the debacle of two weeks ago at
Red River Speedway, this was a breath of fresh air.
The time between races was well used. The 55 Truck
needed to be rebuilt. The frame need to be
straightened and all the body panels had to be replaced.
A callout of thanks to
Don Satterfield for all his help with the repairs
and Crew Chief duties for the weekend. Brad
qualified the Chevrolet Silverado at
Red River Speedway second for the race. He
actually started the race from the pole as the top
qualifier never made it to the grid as he had an engine
failure right before the start of the race. At the
drop of the green flag Brad was able to hold the first
position. He never relinquished that spot for the
entire race, going on to a dominating victory. |
|
July 6,

The
last race of the weekend is behind us now. Twelve
trucks started this race and only two trucks finished.
There were cautions through out the race due to wrecks.
Brad got involved in a wreck about lap 25 and was unable
to continue. This was his first DNF of the season. |

Fifty
lap feature race tonight. Brad started from P4,
inside second row. By the second lap of the race
he had already moved into the second spot. He sat
there and paced the leader for a few laps and then made
the pass for the lead. The field was slowed around
lap six for a single car spin. When the field went
back green, Brad started to pull away from the field.
He never looked back. The race remained green
until lap 46, when there was a multi car pile-up.
There were now just 4 laps remaining in the race. The race was called at this point,
for safety concerns form all the liquids
dropped on the track. |

Speedway held it first July 4th Invitational race.
The starting lineup was set by the 'luck of the draw'.
Brad pulled the number '1' so he started the
race from the pole. The race was slowed by a crash
right after the drop of the green flag. After the
cleanup from the crash, the race was again slowed by
debris on the track. That was the last time the
race stopped until the Checkered flag waved. Brad
